Bristol Instruments offers technical support for Burleigh’s optical products, including Wavemeter laser wavelength meters and Fabry-Perot interferometers. Our engineers are happy to answer technical questions on the phone, a service that we provide free of charge. Bristol Instruments can also calibrate and repair most of Burleigh’s Wavemeters and Fabry-Perot interferometers.
Bristol engineers calibrate Burleigh Wavemeter products by certifying the wavelength measurement accuracy of the system. This is done by comparing the system’s measurement of absolute laser wavelength to an appropriate NIST recognized standard. To ensure confidence in the results, all of the calibration equipment at Bristol Instruments is maintained to ANSI Z540.1 standards.
Bristol Instruments can also repair Burleigh Wavemeter laser wavelength meters such as the WA-1500, WA-1000, WA-4500, WA-20, WA-10, and WA-2000 (Wavemeter Jr). In particular, the Wavemeter’s interferometer can be cleaned and realigned for optimum performance, and a new HeNe reference laser can be installed. This reconditioning can result in a system that meets its original factory specifications.
